Electromagnetic strike for emergency and fire safety doors with anti-panic lock. It is mounted externally, opposite the tongue of the bar. Suitable for all emergency doors with external locking tongue. The tongue of the mechanical lock is used for locking. The outside of the door is entered with an electronic key (or mechanical), and the inside is exited by pressing the handle. There must be a ball handle on the outside of the door.
The electromagnetic striker draws current only at the moment of unlocking. When the power is turned off, it remains in the locked position. In order to function normally, it is necessary to install an emergency module with a battery.
The electromagnetic strike for emergency doors is normally locked, when voltage is applied, it is unlocked for the time for which the voltage is applied. Recommended time – maximum 15 seconds.
The lock is controlled electrically, by controller and reader, as well as by intercom installation. It can also be unlocked mechanically – on the outside with the key of the mechanical lock, by retracting the tongue, and on the inside – by pressing the handle. Its no problem for the strikr to be operated from both mechanical keys and electrical locking systems with electronic keys.
The lock is powered by 12VDC.
