The movement of the drop bolt in a locked or unlocked position is realized by a servo motor, which is controlled by submitting an electric impulse with voltage of 12V to terminals BM + and BM-. The direction of the movement of the spikes is determined by the polarity of the applied voltage. The spikes are pulled to the lock by plus of terminal BM + and minus of terminal BM-( unlocked position). The spikes are taken out of the lock by minus of terminal BM + and plus of terminal BM-.( locked position) The lock has outputs for switches showing the position of the drop bolt -locked / unlocked.
Warning: The lock BKG314 has no protections or built-in control. Therefore, it is necessary this type of lock to be used with control station.The submitted control impulse should not be longer than 0.2 sec.

– The cables must end with cable tags and to be tight enough to the terminals, and then check for their possible disconnection. This is very important because if the control cables of the motor are broken or disconnected the lock can not be operated.
– It is desirable to take measures against making the cable heavy or overstretched by the terminals, because after some time and due to some vibration it can lead to disconnecting or breaking of the cable.

Support and problem prevention:To ensure flawless and long life of the electromechanical lock BKG314, it is desirable to make an annual check-up of the lock and the door on which it is mounted; To check the connection and the state of the cables. The lock must be lubricated every 3 years, at most every 5 years, or every 20,000 cycles. It must be protected from: water or high humidity, high temperature above 50°C, dust, external bodies (liquids, grease, limestone, dust mainly, insects, etc.), aggressive environment.
